Description
Pyrus calleryana Chanticleer is a refined, upright ornamental pear valued for its glossy foliage, strong pyramidal form and vibrant seasonal colour. Dark green leaves turn rich tones of yellow, red and orange in autumn, creating an impressive display. In spring, abundant clusters of open, cup shaped white flowers cover the canopy, attracting pollinators and brightening the landscape. Growing to around 11 metres tall and 6 metres wide, it is a versatile option for feature planting, avenue use, screening and pleaching.
