Prunus laurocerasus, commonly known as Cherry Laurel, is one of the most versatile and dependable evergreen hedging plants. Its dense, glossy green foliage forms a thick screen that provides excellent privacy year round, even in shaded locations where many other hedges struggle. In spring, the plant produces clusters of small white flowers followed by round black fruit, adding subtle seasonal interest.
