Direction Of Use

Select an appropriate pot size to suit the plant’s root system and expected growth. General rule of thumb is 5–10 cm (2–4 inches) larger in diameter than the current root ball. Ensure the pot is placed on a stable, level surface. Before planting, confirm the drainage holes are clear to allow excess water to escape.

Position a layer of quality potting mix into the base of the pot, place the plant in the centre, then backfill with potting mix, gently firming around the roots. Water thoroughly after planting to help settle the soil.

For outdoor use, position the pot in a location suited to the plant’s light requirements. For indoor use, place the pot on a saucer to protect surfaces. Rewater as required and monitor drainage to prevent waterlogging.
