Description

Banksia marginata, commonly known as Silver Banksia, is a highly adaptable Australian native shrub with rounded to upright growth. Its green leaves have a distinctive silver underside, creating attractive contrast in the landscape. Yellow cylindrical flowers appear from autumn through summer, providing nectar for birds and pollinators. With excellent drought, frost and wind tolerance, it performs reliably across Melbourne, including coastal sites.
