Description

Callistemon citrinus Burgundy is a hardy Australian native shrub known for its abundant deep burgundy cylindrical flower spikes, appearing from late spring through summer and often again in autumn. Vigorous, reliable and easy to grow, it forms a dense evergreen shrub ideal for hedges, screens and wildlife friendly gardens. Its flowers attract nectar feeding birds, and the shrub performs well in a wide range of soil types including clay, loam and sandy soils.
