Monitor for mites and scale, particularly on the undersides of leaves. Repot every 2 to 3 years or when roots begin to emerge from the drainage holes. Avoid moving the plant once it has settled into a position as it is sensitive to environmental changes and may drop leaves in response.
• Flowering: Flowers are insignificant and rarely if ever produced indoors. This plant is grown entirely for its spectacular foliage with no fragrance.
