Description
Aloe hybrida Echidna is a small, compact hybrid aloe notable for its narrow grey green foliage edged with fine, soft teeth. During winter it produces red-to-cream bicoloured flower spikes that stand out vividly above the rosette, adding seasonal structure and colour. Its moderate growth rate, tidy rounded habit and high adaptability make it ideal for pots, borders, mixed succulent plantings and erosion control designs. With strong drought tolerance and moderate frost and wind resistance, it performs reliably in exposed, coastal and low maintenance gardens.

- Soil: Grows well in sandy, clay, loam or well drained soils.
