Hebe buxifolia is a hardy, compact evergreen shrub widely valued for its tidy bun shaped habit, glossy green foliage, and masses of small white flowers in summer. Known also as Box Leaf Hebe or Veronica odora, this species is a favourite in Australian gardens for its excellent performance in coastal areas, high frost tolerance, and ability to maintain a clean, rounded silhouette with minimal maintenance.
