'Javelin Forte Deep Purple' is an improved form of butterfly lavender, selected for its increased flower density, stronger colour saturation and more compact, uniform growth. Its aromatic grey green foliage provides year round structure, while the deep purple winged bracts deliver exceptional visual impact. Well suited to Melbourne’s dry, sunny climate, this variety thrives in full sun, tolerates heat, coastal wind and light frost, and performs reliably in low water and Mediterranean style garden designs.
