Description
Rhagodia spinescens Aussie Flat Bush is a compact selection of the widely adapted Creeping Saltbush. Its fine, blue toned evergreen foliage forms a dense mat that suppresses weeds and neatly hugs the ground, making it ideal for high visibility, low maintenance sites. Tough and salt tolerant, it excels in coastal wind, poor or alkaline soils, and urban heat, while also coping with inland cold and frost.

- Soil: Any well drained soil, clay, loam, or sandy. Tolerates alkaline coastal profiles
- Light: Full sun to semi shade, best density in higher light.
- Watering: Minimal once established, water to establish roots then during extended dry spells.
- Fertiliser: Apply low phosphorus slow release fertiliser in spring, mulch well.
- Maintenance: Annual light prune to maintain a manicured edge. Can be left informal on verges/roadsides.
- Flowering: Insignificant, grown for foliage effect.
