Description

Lomandra Nyalla is a hardy fine leaved native grass with blue grey foliage that performs  exceptionally well in coastal, windy and drought prone environments. With a dense clumping habit and strong resilience to salt spray, erosion and poor soils, it is frequently used in mass planting, verges, roundabouts and lo -water landscapes. Faster growing and softer in appearance than grass trees, it provides reliable structure, texture and low maintenance performance across a wide range of Melbourne landscapes.

Key Features:

  • Fine blue grey foliage creates a soft yet structured clump ideal for borders and mass planting.
  • Extremely hardy with high tolerance to drought, wind, frost and coastal salt spray.
  • Fast to establish and excellent for erosion control on slopes and exposed sites.
  • Low maintenance evergreen form requiring minimal trimming or intervention.
  • Versatile in native, coastal, commercial and residential landscapes.
