Description
Helleborus hybrida Moondance PBR is a stunning winter flowering perennial prized for its elegant, nodding blooms. A Plant Breeder's Rights (PBR) protected variety, Moondance produces beautiful creamy white to soft yellow flowers that light up the shaded garden from late winter through spring. An exceptionally long lived and low maintenance plant, it thrives in dappled shade and is perfect for woodland gardens, borders, or containers.

- Soil: Moist, well drained, humus rich soil. Incorporate compost or leaf mould at planting. Avoid waterlogged conditions.
- Light: Thrives in dappled shade or full shade. Avoid harsh afternoon sun which can scorch foliage.
- Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season to establish roots. Once established, water during dry spells. Avoid overwatering.
- Fertiliser: Apply a slow release fertiliser in autumn and a light dressing of compost in spring to encourage flowering.
- Maintenance: Remove old or tatty leaves in late autumn/early winter before flowers emerge to showcase blooms. Divide clumps every 4-5 years if needed.
