Escallonia 'Red Knight' forms a sturdy evergreen shrub with glossy foliage and excellent structure. In summer, it produces clusters of deep red tubular flowers that attract bees and other pollinators. Its tolerance of wind, salt and varied soil types makes it a reliable option for coastal or exposed sites needing a dependable screening plant. It works beautifully as a hedge, specimen shrub or mass planting feature.
